A Foundation Certificate in Coaching & Neuro-Linguistic Programming
This four day Coaching Certificate course is designed specifically for:
- therapists who wish to expand their repertoire of skills and knowledge within this evolving field
- managers and employee-support personnel who recognise that a performance coaching culture at work reduces anxiety, stress, confusion and underachievement
The course will demonstrate how coaching is a valuable tool for empowering individuals to achieve improved confidence and self esteem by:
- identifying their core belief and value systems and understanding patterns of behaviour which in the past have helped or hindered their progress
- creating positive, motivating goals and an innovative action plan to achieve them
- reframing and utilising thoughts and feelings resulting in constructive and flexible thinking
- focusing on the essential elements needed by an individual to be happy and successful in their personal and professional life
Course Outline
Participants will learn how to enhance their roles as a therapist or a manager and gain powerful insight into:
- the ‘coaching model’, including a wide range of effective NLP and coaching techniques that increase personal choice and opportunities for change and success
- understanding the meaning of diverse learning and representational styles
- the meaning of rapport and validation, what actually occurs in face-to-face communication
- essential facilitation skills including appropriate questioning and feedback
- the conscious and unconscious influence of body language
- how to improve team dynamics, performance and productivity through increased team motivation and a more harmonious working environment
- the ability to think ‘beyond the box’ and recognise difficulties that inhibit individual growth and team accomplishments, and how to overcome them
Course details
The training will take place on 9th - 12th September 2008 in the lovely setting of Sherborne Hotel, Dorset. This training is suitable for up to 15 people and takes place in a delightful light and comfortable setting.
Refreshments and lunch are included in the course fee of £240 per delegate.
The duration of each day is from 9.15 a.m.- 4.30.p.m. and free parking is available in the hotel grounds
