This workshop explores the effects that stress and anxiety have on the mind-body and introduce relaxation and stress management techniques that research has shown can help people to feel more in control of their lives.
The aim is to get a better understanding of what is happening to us and understand the impact of relaxation on the mind. The concentration involved in making an image helps us to slow down, relax and gather our thoughts.
The workshop also focuses on:
- First aid emergency relaxation for dealing with negative thoughts and acute stress
- How psychological techniques can help manage stress
- Becoming more confident in coping
- Create a relaxation plan
The workshops are delivered by trainers with many years experience in Stress Management and are relaxing, fun and enjoyable; people who participate in our workshops invariably tell us that they had a good time, as well as having gained new coping strategies and self understanding.
