A new group and course formed within the familiar environment of the Sherborne Hotel under the umbrella of Insight. After exploring and sharing our hopes, fears and expectations our learning journey began Its process, in parallel with our subject; exploring and concreting in our understanding of the importance of the therapeutic relationship. Colourful, creative and imaginative presentations soon developed representing ever deepening knowledge, passion and important skills this training gives us.
Curiosity then came to the fore as we were encouraged to explore the meaning of trance and how this may be experienced by facilitator and client. This led us to consider mechanisms of the unconscious mind and working with trance. Experientially, we encountered the deep, meaningful and powerful impact of trance as well as stepping into inducing it.
We now look forward to the next part of our journey, as Milton Ericson would say “That’s Right”!
